The events unfolding since October 7, 2023, have brought profound tragedy to most families in the region. From Rozana's healthcare perspective, frontline hospitals in Gaza, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Israel are grappling with a triple crisis: severe staff shortages, an overwhelming influx of patients, with around 60,000 wounded individuals across the region, predominantly in Gaza, and an immense emotional and physical strain on medical teams combating the trauma resulting from this challenging wartime situation.

Rozana’s primary objective at this time is to bolster the resilience of our hospital and organizational partners, as well as support our Rozana alumni, through targeted training, aid provision, and emergency supplies.

Amidst these adversities, a glimmer of hope emerges, suggesting a potential "reset" in the region that could pave the way for a renewed journey toward peace. Organizations like Rozana, with their commitment to building trust between Palestinians and Israelis, will be instrumental in this process.

Expanding our Wheels of Hope transportation service in the West Bank to ensure safe and free patient transportation.
Forging a sustainable and long-term partnership between the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRCS) and Israel's Magen David Adom Ambulance Services to bolster PRCS staff capabilities.
