Rotary & Rozana: Empowering Cross-Border Healthcare, Igniting Hope
Rotary's robust partnership with Rozana has fuelled transformative healthcare innovations. Through a potent blend of passion, purpose, and unity, Rotary's critical contribution of US$87,000 ignited the success of the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) project. Over 12 months, 100 Israeli and Palestinian doctors convened for a two-day, internationally recognized Advanced Trauma Life Support training program. This pivotal training, previously unavailable to Palestinian doctors, establishes a robust foundation for emergency trauma care.
The Rotary-funded ATLS project not only nurtured professional growth for Palestinian physicians and enhanced survival rates in a region where every minute matters, but it also paved the way for a $600,000 USAID grant to expand the program, uniting 400 trauma Palestinian and Israeli physicians in a cross-border medical network committed to superior care.
