Maya has extensive experience in project management and in-depth knowledge of the Israeli healthcare system.
Maya worked for more than 13 years at Tel Aviv Medical Center. During her time at the hospital, she worked as a nurse at Lis Maternity Hospital, and breastfeeding coordinator. Later, she opened the first clinic for pregnancy monitoring, and infant care after birth to age of 6 ("Tipat-Halav"), the first center of its kind in Israel, as part of a government hospital. In later years, she managed the team that established the hospital's cutting edge Technology and Simulation Center.
Maya holds a BA in Middle Eastern Studies, and an MA in Health Systems Management. She is currently a PhD candidate, writing her thesis in health technology. Maya is a registered nurse.
