CEO, Rozana Australia
Rosemary forged a successful career in brand marketing and communications across a number of market sectors before finding her true calling in the not-for-profit sector, where she has worked for nearly two decades. Her journey with Rozana, initially known as "Project Rozana," began in late 2018. Her initial role as the Director of Development for Project Rozana Australia soon expanded, elevating her to oversee global efforts. Her tenure has been characterised by driving organisational evolution.
Under her guidance, Rozana has achieved significant milestones, including accreditation with the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) and pursuing accreditation with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). Rosemary's strategic vision led to the creation of ethical guidelines and compliance frameworks that are now the backbone of Rozana's operations worldwide. These initiatives have not only ensured stringent governance and operational compliance but have also positioned Rozana to secure over AU$4.5 million in funding from the US and UK governments.
Rosemary believes that empowering women is at the heart of transformative change for communities and is crucial for sustainable development and lasting peace. Together with the rest of the Rozana team, she is dedicated to ensuring that Rozana's programs and initiatives actively support and elevate the role of women in leading and facilitating change.
